We are very happy that two of our glass sculptures have journeyed south to feature in the exhibition ODYSSEE opening tonight in Biot, France @galerie.lechaczynski .
We couldn’t make the journey ourselves this year and will miss seeing everyone there but are looking forward to seeing photos of the exhibition.
ODYSSEE runs until 31st December so there is plenty of time to visit!

Two of our glass sculptures are underground in the extraordinary environment of @clearwellcaves until the end of August in the Back To The Cave - The Full Spectrum curated by @gallerypangolin .
Clearwell Caves are part of a network of more than 600 acres of iron-rich caves mined for ochre pigments and iron ore for over 4500 years. The subterranean caverns were known to miners as ‘galleries’; ten are now open to the public and host Back To The Cave.
Check out some of the sculptures in the caves in our post and maybe take a trip to the Forest of Dean to experience for yourself!
A full colour catalogue is available with images of the collection of artworks sited in the caves by the 60 selected artists.

Once a year I (Sally) have the privilege of teaching the Year 1 BA students their introduction to kiln casting @kglakademi_glass_and_ceramics on the Danish island of Bornholm.
We cover a lot in a week with the students gaining hands on knowledge through experimental experience of the processes involved in static and lost wax casting glass.
The students are always highly creative intuitive makers with intelligent hands and it is always my aim that after the course they can continue with their self directed study, finding their own visual voice making cast glass objects… should this be the path they choose.
